WE WILL BEAT ANY LEGITIMATE PRICE BY 10%

Diamond Thermal Scan provide exclusive specialist thermography services to many businesses throughout QLD and NSW. We believe preventative maintenance is the best way to protect your business and its facilities from any unforeseen damage or downtime. Thermography enables us to skilfully see what cannot be seen with the naked eye. We can interpret inferred imaging to determine any areas of concern and prevent damage from occurring.

Many property managers understand the need for Thermal imaging but don’t truly comprehend what the resulting scans actually mean for the property they manage. Our proven inspection and assessment process prevent breakdowns, downtime, property damage and potential loss of earnings. In most cases we can identify problems not found using traditional inspection techniques.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at diamondthermalscan@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Can thermal cameras see through walls?

No, a thermal imaging camera cannot see through walls. Therefore, if there was gas on the other side of a wall and the wall had no gaps for it to leak through, the gas would not be detected.

What can thermal imaging detect?

Our thermal imaging cameras specialise in detecting the heated energy of an object with its heat sensor. This allows us to identify excessive temperatures of overheating components or even thermal insulation gaps.

What are the 3 different types of thermal imaging technology?

The 3 main types of infrared cameras are:

  • short wavelength, which can detect 0.9-1.7 micrometers, with very high resolution.
  • mid-wavelength, which detect 2-5 micrometers, which produce high resolution and precise readings.
  • long wavelength, which can detect 7-12 micrometers, which provides the most detail for the reason that atmospheric absorption is minimal.
